We often see that, lots of tips, information and news related to women’s health are provided and many times the health issues related to men’s health are neglected. According to studies, women’s are simply healthier as compared with men. In fact, out of the total 15 leading cause of death, men’s are more prone to cause all the disease and also dies earlier than women. However, there are no miraculous tricks to live a healthy and longer life. But, can cope with their number of health issues by simply avoiding alcohol, cigarette, tobacco and other drugs consumption. They need to quit their all these bad habits. By having healthy balanced diet, exercising regularly, by doing annual medical check-up and by taking sufficient sleep and rest, they can keep number of health disorders at bay. Men’s approach towards their overall health also matters a lot. Studies indicated that men don’t consider about their health until they are working and feeling productive. In fact, they often don’t prefer to consult a doctor until severe condition takes place. However, the list of life-threatening diseases that majorly occurs largely among male gender is increasing are mentioned below:

Heart diseases:-

 

Men’s are at major risk of developing hear diseases as compare with women. The risk of heart diseases increases among men due to addiction of smoking, alcohol, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and a family history of heart attack. Heart diseases is known by different various names such as coronary heart disease, cardiovascular disease and coronary artery disease. Arthrosclerosis is one kind of common heart disease and it causes due to narrowing of a person’s blood vessels, which plays a key role in supplying both blood and oxygen to your heart.

 

High blood pressure:-

 

In this chronic medical condition, blood pushes forcefully through a person’s arteries. When, blood is pushes through arteries at a certain amount of force, is said to be ‘systolic blood pressure’. When the force of the blood decreases, this medical condition is known as diastolic blood pressure. High blood pressure is believed to be chronically elevated state of pressure in person’s arteries. Those persons having blood pressure above 120/80 mm Hg are known to be diagnosed with hypertension. In addition, this chronic medical condition stimulates number of risk factors such as heart failure, heart disease, impaired vision, and stroke and kidney disease. If this life-threatening disease is left untreated, may lead to shorten the person’s life by 10-20 years. Obesity and stress are major risk factors of hypertension. Hence, one can overcome this disease by adopting low-sodium diet, by performing exercises and reducing stress.

 

Smoking Effects on men’s health:-

 

The addiction of smoking develops number of short term and respiratory illness such as pneumonia, bronchitis, cold, cough, ear infection, and asthma. In addition, this bad habit also develops risk of life threatening lung cancer, mouth, throat, bladder, stomach, kidney, pancreas and cervix. The diseases related with smoking are almost same with tobacco users. Apart from these, consumption of cigarette enhances the risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, chronic bronchitis and so on. The possibilities of stroke also get doubles.

 

Prostate cancer:-

 

Prostate cancer mostly occurs among older men, prostate cancer is one form of cancer that takes place in the prostate gland. The prostate gland is the part of male reproductive system which plays a key role in providing nutrition to the sperms. During this condition, when the cells of the gland begin to change and grow widely, they form malignant tumors. This tumor spreads in gland as well as other parts of body. If prostate cancer left untreated, can affects men’s lungs, liver, bones and additional parts of body. Thus, early detection is vital for successful treatment.

 

Urinary tract infection:-

 

This disease is most common among men, women and children as well. It is also known as Escherichia coli (E. coil), a name of the bacteria that is responsible for this infection. A urinary tract infection takes place when bacteria enters the opening of a person’s urethra and reproduced that is develops in their urinary tract. Person’s urinary tract includes urethra, kidneys, and bladder. Urinary tract infection that results into kidney infection can be more dangerous and painful.

 

Erectile dysfunction:-

 

Due to presence of nicotine in tobacco and cigarette, many male genders are suffering of erectile dysfunction. In fact smoking and tobacco consumption are the biggest culprit of premature ejaculation, loss of libido, delayed ejaculation and infertility.

 

Male incontinence:-

It is not a disease, in this condition most time accidental leaking of the urine gets; it is considered as a problem with men’s urinary tract. Expansion of prostate and Benign prostatic heperplasia are the leading factors of male incontinence. This condition can be acute, temporary or chronic. Acute male incontinence usually occurs suddenly, while chronic is long lasting.

 

High cholesterol:-

 

Cholesterol is one kind of soft and waxy fat particle which passes through a person’s blood as well as produced by liver. Cholesterol is a common steroid and is vital for building block for cell membranes. Cholesterol plays a an important role in formation of bile, helps to digest fats, formation of hormones, other steroids and enhances chances of vitamin D. Today, most of the food contains cholesterol in excess quantity which does not require. This excess cholesterol raises person’s level of blood and result in accumulation of plaque in the arteries, which in turn contributes to several life threatening afflictions such as atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, stroke hear attack, circulatory issues and results in death as well.
